Hidden RV Overnights You Haven’t Discovered

When it comes to RV travel days… you really never know how they’re gonna to go 😅

We were making our way from Florida to Red Bay, Alabama to get some work done on our Tiffin, and let’s just say everything did not go exactly go as planned. This video is full of all those little hiccups that pop up on a travel day! You know the kind that can drive you a little crazy when you just want to hit the road and get where you’re going.

We decided to divide up our 600 mile haul instead of driving all the way through. We tend to lean into the rule of 3’s on travel days. Which means we prefer to stop….

  • in 3 hours

  • at 300 miles

  • before 3 pm

Sometimes we also prefer to avoid campgrounds. Because who wants to pay $75 a night just to sleep? Not us! We found a cool place to park along our route that ended up being the perfect overnight. What are your favorite RV stops when you’re when you wanna skip the campground?
