Best Eats & Drinks around banff
Tank 310 - (Canmore) This restaurant sits above the Grizzly Paw and has epic views of Three Sisters Mountain. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere made you want to linger for just one more craft beer.
Grizzly Paw Brewing Co - (Canmore) While waiting for a table at Tank 310, we sampled a few of their craft brews. They were frosty, cold, and delicious. The Powder Hound Blonde ale, Three Sisters Pale ale, and the Rutting Elk Red were a few of our favs. We even picked up a few cans to have on had for game night at the VRBO.
Where the Buffalo Roam Saloon - (Canmore) We popped into this cozy saloon shortly after arriving. The hand-crafted cocktails and spiked coffee were the perfect welcome to Canada. The food, however, was even better. We sampled every appetizer on the menu, and I can tell you no crumbs remained when we finished!
Lakeview Lounge - This is the Fairmont Hotel’s iconic bar. If you are looking for views that will blow your mind, this is the place. The huge window looks over Lake Louise and the Victoria Glacier. We stopped in, had appetizers, and crafted cocktails while enjoying the sunset. Prices here are not cheap but the once-in-a-lifetime views are worth the price of admission!
Drunken Lobster Oyster Bar - (Canmore) I know what you are thinking, seafood that far from the ocean! But trust me when I say everything was delicious, including the cocktails. The seafood is flown in daily; when they run out, they are out!! Pop in and give this place a try. You will not leave hungry!
Waldhaus Restaurant - (Banff) This restaurant sits above the Bow and Spray rivers, making the walk to the door as impressive as the views out the windows. You will find the best Bavarian food in the Canadian Rockies. Imagine soft pretzels, fondue, schnitzel, bratwurst and more. This restaurant is in the park and requires a Canadian National Parks pass.
